Demilec’s Safety & Product Stewardship
An Obligation to Education, A Commitment to Safety
As an industry leader of more than 30 years in chemically-based polyurethane
products, Demilec places nothing above the health and safety of its product
creators, handlers and customers.
The use of any chemicals can introduce unique health and safety risks;
and because of this we have made safety our top priority and are dedicated
to assuring that anyone that uses our polyurethane products are committed
to industry regulations and guidelines. This imperative health and safety
commitment is transferred from our chemists, product handlers and sales
team to our end-user contractors, builders and homeowners.
All certified applicators are required to comply with current product labels,
safety data sheets, technical data sheets, International Code Council,
Evaluation Service Report and product guidelines.
Our health and safety information includes product use, handling and disposal
of spray foam polyurethane (SPF), potential health hazards and control
measures, including personal protective equipment.
Applicators are also required to comply with the standards of the Center
for Polyurethane Industries’ Guidance on Best Practices for the
Installation of Spray Polyurethane Foam, which can be found
