We have all fallen at one time or another. Some of us walked away uninjured,
some of us not so lucky and broken or sprained something. Injuries caused
by a fall results in: Loss time—Loss $$$$–Loss production—Loss of life.
September 15, 2012 OSHA’S new code pertaining to fall protection
will take effect. It is: 29 Code of Federal Regulations 1926.50 (b)(13)
Simply states that anyone working six (6) feet above ground level will
need to use conventional fall protection gear ( harness ). More information
can be found on OSHA’S web page under RESIDENTIAL FALL PROTECTION.
Let’s all work safe.
