Meet Our Leadership
Demilec's Executive Leadership Team is comprised of a diverse group
of professionals, each with extensive experience and specialized knowledge
in their respective disciplines, as well as within the chemical engineering
industry. This team ensures Demilec's forward momentum through innovation,
advanced science, and the latest technology to develop spray foam insulation
and coating products. With invaluable leadership, Demilec continues to
be recognized as an industry leader.
Demilec started in Boisbriand, Quebec with currently over 70 employees
in an impressive state of the art facility housing the global company’s
R&D operations in the constant innovation of next-generation technology.
A second manufacturing plant and modern laboratories is located in Arlington,
Texas. With the new structure in place, Demilec Canada is able to cover
the Canadian market from coast to coast in addition to supplying all of
the North Eastern US market.
Paul Valle, President and CEO, brings Demilec more than 25 years of experience
in the manufacturing and building products industry. He has a track record
in growing companies by focusing on operational excellence and continuous
improvement to drive cost and quality competitiveness and increase customer
satisfaction. Paul’s most recent executive leadership position was
President of Silver Line Building Products, Andersen Corporation’s
vinyl division. He launched Silver Line’s first new products in
a decade, grew sales in new construction products and increased operating
profits. Prior to Silver Line, Paul served as President of CertainTeed
Corporation’s Insulation Group, where he successfully navigated
the company through the dramatic new construction market slowdown.
Owner of Demilec since 1986, Jacques earned the top spot as Quebec Ernst
& Young "Entrepreneur of the Year" in 2009. He remains an
active member of Demilec’s executive committee and serves as a strategic
advisor, while his dedication to environmental awareness extends beyond
his business and into the wider community. He is viewed as a pioneer regarding
recycles and renewable foam insulation.
Dan Clayton is the Vice President of Sales for Canada with 36 years of
experience in the spray foam industry. Dan started Polyurethane Foam Systems
Inc. (PFSI) with two dedicated employees in 2000 and has never looked
back. Dan became part of the Demilec team when Demilec acquired PFSI.
His vast experience has been invaluable, especially when it comes to industry
knowledge and planning. He has been a member of Canadian Urethane Foam
Contractors Association (CUFCA) for 24 years, and on the Board of Directors
for the last 13 years.
Elizabeth Lalli-Reese is the General Manager of Demilec Quebec as well
as the Vice President of Human Resources and Risk Management at Demilec.
Along with 14 years of progressive experience, Elizabeth’s educational
credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Texas
Christian University and a Juris Doctorate from Texas A&M School of
Law. Prior to joining Demilec, Elizabeth worked in positions of increasing
scope and responsibility within risk management, human resources, and
operations. Prior to joining Demilec in 2014, Elizabeth was Vice President
of Human Resources with EMSI, a risk management company.
Douglas Brady is Vice President of Strategic Marketing and brings 17 years
of marketing, sales, and operations experience to Demilec. Prior to joining
Demilec, Doug worked for Graco as the Director of the High Performance
Coatings and Foam. After leaving Graco, Doug work as Vice President Sales
and Marketing at Houston Wire and Cable, a master distributor of wire
and cable in the electrical supply industry. Doug earned a B.S. in Physics
and an M.B.A from Carnegie Mellon University, and served as a US Naval Officer.
Thomas Harris is our Vice President of Building Science and Innovation.
Tom is a graduate of Toronto’s Ryerson University Chemical Engineering
program and a Building Science practitioner. Tom’s 35 + years in
the polyurethane foam industry in both Canada and the United States provides
a solid foundation for our technical development teams as well as our
Building Science group. Prior to working with Demilec, Tom worked with
Huntsman (previously CIL) in Toronto as a development chemist, BASF in
both Canada and the U.S. as a formulation development chemist, and several
levels of management including technical, sales, marketing and business.
Most recently, Tom spent nine years with Honeywell’s Blowing agent
team in a business development leadership role.
Kyle Kolde, Vice President and CFO, brings to Demilec more than 20 years
of finance and executive leadership experience from General Electric,
Johns Manville (Berkshire Hathaway), and Lhoist/ Chemical Lime Company.
He has a proven track record growing businesses through a keen focus on
commercial markets, customer satisfaction, continuous improvement and
cost management. Kyle has a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting
from University of Cincinnati, MBA from Texas A&M University, and
is Certified Public Accountant.
Francois brings more than 30 years of experience in the building industry
to Demilec. Currently, he serves as the Building Science Director, Sales
manager in addition to managing the customer service department. For over
18 years, he has been leading the building code conformity, energy efficiency,
building envelope, and research and development projects. He is a member
of various committees, such as: CAN/ULC Insulation Committee, Quebec Building
Envelope Council, and the CUFCA Technical Committee.
Michel has over 25 years of senior sales management and market development
experience. As a Sales director for the Quebec market, his exceptional
commitment to customer service excellence continues to help drive growth
at Demilec as he strives to identify new market opportunities while expanding
the distribution network. Michel is a member of several internal committees
and is a director member at CUFCA Quebec.
Mario is an experienced chemist who has been at Demilec for over 25 years.
