SEALECTION®500 is a semi-rigid, open cell, environmentally
friendly spray foam insulation that delivers superior performance
and cost-savings to Canadian contractors. This water-blown,
single-application insulation quickly self-adheres (eliminating
the need for fasteners) and expands to 120 times its liquid
volume to automatically fill cracks, crevices and hollow spaces
in walls, floors and ceilings. It saves all of the time and effort
that formally was needed to insulate and airseal
hard-to-reach places.

In addition to saving time and inconvenience for Canadian contractors, SEALECTION®500 creates substantial savings by reducing HVAC equipment costs because homes can use energy-efficient units that are as much as 40 percent smaller to heat and cool the same amount of space. In some cases, consumer energy costs dropped by as much as 50 percent after SEALECTION®500 was installed.

SEALECTION®500's environmentally friendly formula contains no ozone-depleting chemicals, gasses, fibers, formaldehyde or asbestos. It meets the standards of the National Building Code of Canada, conforms to Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) quality guidelines, and exceeds government leakage standards for air barrier materials. In some cases, SEALECTION®500's high R value (3.6) may allow contractors and builders to qualify for additional credits through the Canadian Green Building rating system.
