Innovative Design Options. Environmental Answers.
HEATLOK® SOYA is rigid, closed cell polyurethane spray foam
insulation that offers superior performance, versatility and value to
architects who are addressing today's environmental challenges
though innovative products and designs.
HEATLOK® SOYA allows architects greater design options and
improved materials to create energy-efficient, superior-quality
institutional, commercial, industrial and residential buildings. It
fully self-adheres to the substrate, providing a seamless,
monolithic air and vapour barrier that conforms to irregular shapes
and allows for easy detailing around areas where air could potentially penetrate.
Studies show that 40 percent of building energy loss is caused by air exfiltration. By blocking air, dirt, allergens and vapour from entering in the building envelope, HEATLOK® SOYA stops mold, mildew and wall damage due to condensation an/or exfiltration air movement. HEATLOK® SOYA at 38mm and more the product meet the National Building Code requirements for vapour barrier properties. Plus, it exceeds air-barrier material exigencies by more than 500 times.
HEATLOK® SOYA reaches the highest R value per inch in the market RSI 1.05 per 25mm (R6 per inch), type 2 in CAN/ULC S 705.1 material standard,‘’Standard for Thermal Insulation Spray Applied Rigid Polyurethane Foam, Medium Density, Material Specification HEATLOK® SOYA allows architects, builders and contractors to qualify for additional credits in LEED program. In addition to Green Building credits, HEATLOK® SOYA reduces the energy needed for heating and cooling buildings by up to 50 percent. As a result, builder and contractors can use smaller, less expensive heating and cooling units to provide the same degree of temperature control and air quality.
HEATLOK® SOYA is a single-application, with the 3 essentials properties (Insulation, Air-Barrier and Vapour-Barrier)earth to built a hight efficiency and durable building enveloppe. Plus thegreen aspect of the product using recycled plastics and renewable resources such as soya and vegetable oils to exceed the Montreal Protocol. HEATLOK® SOYA use a Zero Ozone Depletion Substance (Zero ODS). HEATLOK® SOYA was the first SPF (Spray Polyurethane Foam) product to meet that requirement in Canada, Febuary 2006.The product is tested by recognize independent laboratories and evaluated by government agency CCMC 13244-L (Canadian Construction Materials Centre)and fulfills all of the performance standards of the National Building Code of Canada, and give creditsfor Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) project (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).
HEATLOK® SOYA brings next-generation value and performance to today's forward-thinking architects.
