Heatlok 0240 is spray-applied polyurethane cellular plastic that forms a continuous, monolithic air barrier on the wall. It is more than just an air barrier, it is a one-step wall system including our insulation material, an air barrier and a vapor retarder. Heatlok 0240 polyurethane foams have one of the highest R-values per inch of any insulating material available which helps reduce energy costs while improving building comfort.

The Heatlok 0240 is a vapor barrier, insulation and air barrier system, applied in a single, cost effective method by Canadian Urethane Foam Contractors Association (C.U.F.C.A) certified applicators across Canada.
Heatlok 0240 foam adheres directly to the substrate forming a seamless and permanent coverage over and around even the most difficult shapes. It seals cracks and joints, and around protrusions like brick ties to form a continuous insulating air barrier that remains for the life of the building. Labour costs are reduced since no extra steps are required to caulk or seal openings. Its ease of application makes it the perfect solution for air-sealing work in attics, crawl spaces or other hard to reach areas.
Heatlok 0240 has been independently tested and conforms to the requirements of CAN/ULL S705.1
In addition, Heatlok 0240 system has been third party tested for air barrier properties and exceeds the highest air-barriers requirements as proposed by the National Research Council (NRC).
